Psychotherapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy, oriented towards identifying the client’s problems with the aim of solving them using specific cognitive behavioral techniques and strategies. Cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on studying the relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. The concept underlying cognitive behavioral therapy is that our thoughts about a certain situation affect the way we feel emotionally and physically. People give meaning to the events that happen around them. These meanings are not always precise, consistent with reality or helpful. As a result, negative thoughts with no connection to reality often lead to maladaptive emotions, attitudes and behaviors, which affect our family life, social or professional relationships

Integrative Therapy
Integrative psychotherapy combines ideas and techniques from different schools of therapeutic thought, which it applies in an individualized manner based on the unique needs of a particular client. According to the Romanian Federation of Psychotherapy, a central principle of integrative psychotherapy is that no single form of therapy is the most appropriate in all situations. Basically, the goal of those who put together the foundations of integrative psychotherapy was not to invent a new theory, but to explore several of the already existing approaches and suggest effective interventions using their techniques.

Systemic Couple and Family Therapy
Family and couple therapy addresses the problems people face in the context of their relationships with significant people in their lives and their social networks.

It is a psychotherapeutic approach that primarily targets the family system as a social unit, unlike other psychotherapy approaches, such as psychodynamic or cognitive-behavioral therapy, which focus on the individual. Family therapy and systemic practice is a heterogeneous field; there are different schools and models that share several principles and assumptions. Some of them of family therapy could be, for example: objectifying the level of functioning of families at different levels, creating mutual development and emotional support among family members, developing coping skills and problem-solving strategies in different dilemmas and situations of life and so on.

Group Therapy

Trauma therapy is a form of therapy that can help you deal with the emotional response caused by a traumatic event.
It is important to mention that trauma refers to how a person experiences an event, everyone’s experience being subjective. Experiencing trauma depends on the person, not the event itself.
Trauma therapy is not about coping with symptoms, it is about healing. It’s about helping individuals to recover their whole self, and to get their lives back.
